About Marcos Minaya
Marcos founded DCR Capital in 2022 and is directly involved with all elements of the firm’s strategic direction and operations. Marcos has spent the majority of his 17-year career focused on managing, sourcing, and selling single family, multifamily and office investments and overseeing the execution of business plans. His relevant experience has included acquisitions, dispositions, financial underwriting, property valuation and market analysis for a range of property types.
Prior to this, Marcos spent 10 years at CBRE as a Vice President. While at CBRE, he advised U.S. real estate investors on the planning and execution of their investment, disposition, and capitalization strategies. During his 10-year career at CBRE, Marcos was part of a team which closed on more than $22 billion in transactions.
Prior to working at CBRE, Marcos was an REO analyst with Rialto Capital in the Real Estate Group, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of commercial and residential real estate. Prior to that he held positions at LNR Property, Capital Mortgage & Investments and SunTrust Bank.
Marcos graduated from Florida International University in 2005 with a BA in Business Administration and received a Master of Science in International Real Estate from Florida International University in 2011. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker as well as being involved with several civil and real estate related organizations.
