He has over 10 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry. He has held various roles in the field, including Construction Manager, Sustainable Construction Consultant and Design Coordinator, and has delivered outstanding results in each of these capacities.
One of Julio's key areas of expertise lies in the field of green building science, where he has gained extensive knowledge of sustainable design, building systems commissioning, and certification programs such as LEED, NGBS, and EDGE. In his role as a trusted advisor, he has been responsible for overseeing the successful completion of more than 19 million square feet of built area in residential and commercial projects.
Julio is a certified professional with multiple accreditations to his name, including a Florida Certified General Contractor, NGBS Green Verifier, LEED AP BD+C, LEED AP O+M, and WELL AP. He has demonstrated his commitment to the field of sustainable construction through his leadership roles, including his tenure as Co-Founder and ex-Chief Operations Officer of CUATROPLANOS, a construction and green building consulting company in Colombia.
Julio's credentials include a Civil Engineering degree from the prestigious Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia, as well as a Master of Science degree in Building and Architectural Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
